To begin the creation process for your traditional lab-made crown,Dr. Kella will use a material, such as a specialized dental putty, to create a cast of your broken or damaged tooth. This impression will then be sent to a local lab that specializes in custom crown creations. Dr. Kella will also include information on your specific tooth shade to ensure your crown matches perfectly with the rest of your smile. The lab will then design, complete, and ship the crown back to Dr. Kella.
