At Lakeshore Dental Studio, we use modern dental tools to help us enhance patient experience. State-of-the-art technology ensures accuracy, promotes efficiency, and enables precision. We use CBCT, intraoral cameras, and digital radiographs to take detailed images of your teeth and gums for diagnosis and treatment planning.
We are committed to your comfort. Using new technology, like the DentalVibe, allows us to ensure a painless experience throughout your treatment. The DentalVibe is a painless injection system that gently shakes your teeth and gums so you won't notice any discomfort associated with injections. This is just one small step we can take to eliminate any potential fear or anxiety and ensure we are providing you with the best patient experience possible.
We invest in the latest dental technology because it enhances patient experience and makes your dental visits as efficient and accurate as possible. At Lakeshore Dental Studio, we use these tools to keep you happy, healthy, and comfortable:
Dental cone beam computed tomography (CT) is a special type of x-ray equipment used when regular dental or facial x-rays are not sufficient. Dr. Kella may use this technology to produce three dimensional (3-D) images of your teeth, soft tissues, nerve pathways and bone in a single scan. We use this technology to:
Intraoral cameras can save time, improve accuracy, promote communication, and enhance positive patient experiences. With intraoral cameras, we are able to capture detailed images of a patient’s mouth. This technology has many benefits, including:
Digital radiography (known as digital x-ray) uses an electronic sensor instead of traditional x-ray film to capture images of your teeth, jaw structure, and gums. The digital images are then easily stored directly to a computer in our office. The benefits of digital radiography include:
Our state of the art intraoral scanner is used to capture a direct optical impression. Patients will no longer need to have impression material used on them. With this technology, patients will have their oral impressions taken virtually . The scanner projects a light source onto the area. The images are captured by imaging sensors and are processed by scanning software, which then produces a 3D surface model. Patients will be able to view what their new smile will look like immediately with a smile simulation!
